Letter of appointment

Here is my appointment letter. You can see I've been assigned to Castro Valley, where I live. When I first talked to someone, they said that frequently Castro Valley has a hard time getting poll workers, and that they often brought people in from neighboring Hayward.

Dress code for Pennsylvania voters?

I'll find out on Friday, but I'll bet that California does not share Pennsylvania's dress code for voters.

I'm going to be a poll worker "inspector"

I am going to be a poll worker for a local polling place in California on November 4th. I have been appointed the position of "inspector." I will be attending a three-hour training session next Friday (10 Oct, 2008).

I would like to record the experience, and let others know a little about it.
